Chappell Named BusinessWoman of the Year

Colleen Chappell, president and CEO of ChappellRoberts and AMA Tampa Bay's immediate past president, was named the 2010 BusinessWoman of the Year by the Tampa Bay Business Journal on Aug. 20.

Chappell was also winner of the Business Services category.

About 575 attendees at the black-tie event at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay honored the 60 finalists and nine other category winners, chosen by an independent panel of judges.

The competition was fierce this year. Finalists were chosen from more than 300 nominations, also a record for the event, which began in 2004.
