Meet Marny Bowman, Our Outstanding Volunteer

We are pleased to present the Outstanding Volunteer Award to Marny Bowman. Marny is currently an Account Manager at Genesis Direct, a Direct Channel Marketing Agency.  She strategizes with clients to plan and execute integrated Marketing campaigns and is a knowledge leader in all things digital.  Marny moved to the Tampa Bay area to attend college and graduated from USF with a Business Administration degree, majoring in Marketing.  Her long-term career goal is to return to academia to earn a PhD in Marketing and shape a new generation of Marketers through work as a college professor.   
 
Marny is an active community volunteer with a soft spot for organizations devoted to women and children’s causes.  She is a member of the Junior League of Tampa and frequently volunteers with Metropolitan Ministries, the United Way, Food 4 Kids, and Connected by 25.  She loves wine, watching a good hockey game, reading, traveling to new cities, and most of all loves weekend adventures with her husband and two sons, ages 4 and 2.  
 
Marny volunteers on the Communications Committee. Along with her other contributions, she manages the event registration system and recently spent many hours making improvements to the system. We are fortunate and grateful to have Marny as one of our valued volunteers!
