Why am I receiving so many emails from AMA?
AMA Tampa Bay knows how important it is to stay informed.  As a result we do send emails to our database on a regular basis.  Members and non-members may receive these communications.  Members are automatically added to our email database upon joining the chapter and non-members may also be included in this correspondence by signing up to “Join Our Mailing List” at the top of all of the pages on our website.

In additional to local Tampa Bay Chapter information, AMA Tampa Bay members also receive frequent communications from our International Headquarters in Chicago.  If you would like to receive fewer mailings from International Headquarters, please visit the following link to update your mailing preferences. http://ecom.ama.org/myapps/unsubscribes/Default.aspx.

I am really excited about an upcoming event but haven't seen a way to register for it yet? 
All AMA Events are scheduled to open for registration 3-4 weeks before the event.  This gives us plenty of time for our volunteers to create the event in the system and also to give everyone enough time to register.

I'm trying to register for an event and when I go to put in my information, the system shows me as a non-member and charges me the higher (non-member) price?  What should I do?
First PLEASE make sure that you are trying to register with the email address that you used when you became an AMA member. 

To double-check what this email address is, please go to www.marketingpower.com and check your profile.   This will make a difference in how the system sees you.

I registered more than just me on my credit card but only received my confirmation?
The confirmation for each of your registrants goes to each registrant individually and includes their unique registration code allowing them entrance to the event.  Should you need to obtain a receipt for each and cannot obtain the receipts from the individuals directly, please email vpcommunications@amatampabay.org.

I am a sponsor and don't know my sponsor code to register? 
Please email Will Rose, VP of Sponsorship.

I am unable to attend an event that I have already registered for.  What should I do? 
If you know that you are unable to attend an event at least one week prior to the event date, you can receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee.  In order to modify your registration, please review your confirmation email where you can view and modify your attendance.  No other refunds will be granted for any reason. 

I want to join the AMA email list?  What should I do?
Members and non-members may sign up to join our AMA Tampa Bay mailing list. Please fill out the "Join Our Mailing List" at the top of this page.

I want to modify my email for all future mailings from AMA Tampa Bay?
If you are an AMA Member: 
Log on to www.marketingpower.com to modify your account.  Once there, please click on Login. Once you logged in, your name and membership expiration will show on the top right corner. Click on the link for My Profile to update your contact information.

I would like to talk to someone about joining AMA?
